Wikkelhouse is an Amsterdam-based Dutch manufacturer of modular, sustainable tiny homes built from renewable materials including wood and flax insulation. Each home is assembled from 1.2-metre segments that connect flexibly, enabling highly customisable configurations starting at approximately €40,000. The flagship Bear model offers 25 m² of living space for up to four people, with optional kitchen and bathroom modules available. Wikkelhouse claims its homes are three times more eco-friendly than traditional housing and is working toward full biodegradability, with each segment weighing just 600 kg and requiring no permanent foundation, allowing same-day installation. Over 150 units have been placed globally, and the company delivers across the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, and Chile. Wikkelaway, the company's hospitality arm, offers holiday rental experiences at resort locations, extending the brand into leisure and tourism.
