Systimber

Systimber is a Belgian wooden construction specialist based in De Pinte with more than 35 years of experience and over 500 completed projects. Founded by Wolfgang Verraes, the company builds custom residential homes, extensions, garden offices, poolhouses, wellness studios, and care units using an innovative houtschakelbouw (wooden-frame) technique in which solid beams are mechanically connected without glue or chemical sealants, allowing structures to breathe and regulate moisture naturally. Buildings are fully demountable, relocatable, and recyclable, using screw foundations and manual assembly to minimise environmental disruption. Projects typically complete in as little as three to five days for buildings or two weeks for full homes, and the technique yields approximately ten percent more usable interior space than conventional construction. Systimber serves clients across Belgium — Flanders, Brussels, and Wallonia — as well as the Netherlands, operating inspiration centres in De Pinte and Somme-Leuze.
