Commodore Homes is a long-established manufacturer of modular and manufactured homes based in Elkhart, Indiana, with roots tracing back to 1952. One of the largest modular home producers in the eastern United States, Commodore operates manufacturing divisions in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, distributing homes across more than 32 states from Maine to South Carolina and Montana to New Jersey. The company's brand family includes Manorwood Homes, Pennwest Homes, Colony Homes, R-Anell Homes, Freedom Park Home, and MidCountry Homes, spanning entry-level manufactured homes to higher-end modular designs. Commodore Homes is now a division of Cavco Industries, which acquired the company for $153 million, combining their six manufacturing facilities and two retail locations under one of the industry's leading factory-built housing groups.
